1. A FABULOUS GOLF COURSE
Over the last couple of years over half a million pounds was invested in the course and its facilities. The greens are as fast and true as any in the area and the drainage system installed ensures that play is possible throughout the year. Due to the extensive work that has been done to the course trolleys (fitted with Hedgehog wheels during the winter) are permitted all year long. We also guarantee* to keep you on normal tees and greens thoughout the year.
2. FREE GOLF ON 7 OTHER BURHILL GOLF COURSES*
As well as our great course we are able to offer our members free golf on 7 other Burhill golf courses. They include:
- Abbey Hill
- Birchwood Park
- Hoebridge
- Ramsdale
- The Shropshire
- Thornbury
- Wycombe Heights
We also give free golf at Aldwickbury Park should there be any event or competition on that prevents members from getting a game. A 50% discount is available at Aldwickbury Park on other occasions along with Burhill golf club.
3. PREFERENCE ON TEE BOOKINGS
Booking tee times in advance saves our members from waiting around to tee off. We offer members the opportunity to book in person, in the golf shop, by telephone or should the boss be in earshot online. Members are able to book 14 days in advance as opposed to visitors 7days. Members are also the only golfers permitted to book before 12 at weekends.
4. 7-DAY MEMBERSHIP CAPPED AT 380
To prevent overcrowding of the golf course we cap our 7-day membership at 380 to give you the best opportunity of not only getting the tee time you want but to enable you to go round the course in under 4 hours.
5. 9 HOLE COURSE
As well as the 18 hole course we have a great 9 hole course that provides a speedy alternative to the main course should you have limited time or you are just starting out.
6. MEMBER DISCOUNTS AND INCENTIVES
We value our members continued support and we reward them with great discounts on food and drink, buggy hire, range balls and golf days. You can also bring friends along at a greatly reduced rate.
7. NEW MEMBER PROGRAMME
We make integrating into the club as easy as possible. Stuart holds a new members event on a monthly basis as well as booking times on a weekly basis for new members to turn up and get a game. Once you have you handicap you will meet many more members through entering competitions.
8. GREAT PRACTICE FACILITIES AND GOLF ACADEMY
Being the only golf course in the area to have a flood lit driving range we give our members the opportunity to improve their game all year round. Along with a chipping green, practice bunker and putting green all aspects of the game can be developed. Instructors are also on hand with all the latest teaching skills and gizmos to make sure you develop your game to its full potential.
9. A FULL COMPETITION AND SOCIAL PROGRAMME
Competetive and fun competitions are held throughout the year along with a variety of social events.
10. A WELCOMING CLUBHOUSE
A modern clubhouse awaits you at the end of your round where you can relax and have a bite to eat and a drink at a reasonable price. We promise no jackets and ties are needed and you can order your baguette and beer from the bar in one go from our inhouse catering team!
